Hatha Yoga with Juan

Wednesday 6.45-8.00 am

This practice of Hatha Yoga aims to bring physical, mindful and spiritual balance, strength, creativity and a sense of well being and relaxation. This is mainly achieved through a series of breathing techniques (pranayama), physical postures (asanas), relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation. Hatha yoga, with its focus on healing and purifying the body, is an important stage in the evolution of a person as a spiritual entity.

Through my classes I aim to immerse the students in this ancient science. All students are guided to their own ability. I invite them to challenge themselves via asana practice, exploring their own range or ability in strength, stability, flexibility and focus. I use breathing exercises and relaxation to further prepare the body and mind for concluding meditation
