Ayurvedic detox and rejuvenation programs

Ayurveda is well known for its detoxification and rejuvenation practices. Known as Panchakarma, it is a highly refined approach that has been developed and practiced over thousands of years for the prevention and treatment of disease.

At Kalari Ayurveda Centre we offer these therapies in 7-28 day programs. They are best for long-standing and chronic conditions, but can also be taken for prevention and longevity.

The programs involve daily ayurvedic treatments, supported by ayurvedic herbs, diet and daily routine adjustments to work at a deeper level.

What's involved?

Our comprehensive programs have three stages that include:

Stage 1: Preparatory home program

An initial consultation is required to customise the program to your needs. The seven day preparatory phase involves following a simple ayurvedic diet, taking ayurvedic herbs and adjusting the daily routine. Preparing the body this way is essential to achieve maximum results from the daily treatments in the next stage.

Stage 2: Daily body treatments in the clinic

Daily ayurvedic treatments work at a deep level to cleanse the body of toxins and restore a healthy balance.

The choice of treatments will be given depending on your condition. They can include ayurvedic massage, kalari marma massage, udvartana (powder/paste massage), a range of kizhi treatments, shirodhara, herbal steam therapy and more.

The diet, ayurvedic herbs and daily routine continue to support the treatments.

Once the body is prepared, detoxification is enhanced through purgation (virechan), herbal enemas (basti) or nasal herbal oil (nasya) according to your condition.

Stage 3: After-care home program

After the in-clinic treatments, it’s important to continue the ayurvedic herbs, diet and daily routine adjustments for at least a week. This restoration stage supports and enhances the effects of the previous two stages of treatment.
